Andrew Palmer, born 25 Oct 1738 at Stonington, Connecticut, was the third child of Phebe Billings & Nathan Palmer. He was baptized 5 Nov 1738.
He married twice, both at Stonington:
1) In 1760, Lucy Palmer [b. 23 Sep 1737, daughter of Mary (Chesebrough) & Nathaniel Palmer]. They were second cousins. Their list of descendants is not certain, but they probably had at least 5, possibly 6 children:
Andrew was Captain of a privateer, serving in the Revolutionary War in 1775, and was lost at sea (the Atlantic Ocean) during an engagement sometime between 1782 and 1785.
