Research Notes
This profile initially had a death date / place of 10 Nov 1661 Duxbury, MA, but a check of the Duxbury vital records finds no one by the name of PALMER in any of its records during this frame. Death information therefore removed. Smith-32867 28 Feb 2017
A "! PLACEMARK !" entry as a "child" for William is just an informative connection between Walter Palmer of Stonington and William and/or John Palmer of Parham - a false relationship. References to Walter of Stonington as "William" are INCORRECT.
See the more detailed note in the later Walter Palmer note areas.

Just researching Stradling cadet branches and raising a point for further research/potential updating of this profile. If William Palmer's son, Walter, was the child Elizabeth was carrying as stated in William's 24 Dec 1586 will, then Walter would have been born in 1587, not 1590 as currently shown in the list of children.
The death location given here is not possible. There was no Massachusetts Bay colony in the 1500's.

this needs rechecking, the dates of birth and death are a long lifespan even for someone today in greta circumstances. There is different data elsewhere online
Here is the correct list of children of William (John) Palmer and Elizabeth Verney from "Berry's Sussex" genealogies
1) Sir Thomas born 1574 died circa 1605
2) Katherine born 1579
3) William born 1583 died 1585
4) Sarah born 1586/7
These other children DO NOT belong to the Palmer/Verney family.
Child: Abraham Palmer
Child: Walter Palmer
Child: William Palmer (NOT to be confused with the William who died at age 2)
Child: John Palmer
Child: John Palmer
Child: John Palmer
Child: William Palmer (listed twice)
Additionally, he did not die in Duxbury, Plymouth, MA as he never went to the new world. This wrong data is because of other incorrect mergings of his son, WIlliam with a William of Duxbury.
