Biography

I (William Joseph Palmer) was born in Ironton, Lawrence County, Ohio on April 27th, 1986 to William Ray Palmer, Jr. and Bridget Mary Palmer(Lemon).

I have one older sibling, my brother, William Nicholas Palmer.

I was raised in Russell, Greenup County, Kentucky, and graduated from Russell High School in 2004. I lived in Russell, Kentucky until February of 2008, at which time I moved to the neighboring city of Ashland, Kentucky in Boyd County.

My father's mother, Carole Palmer(Jones), has been an amateur genealogist and contributor to Rootsweb since the 1980's, helping to map the family history of Webster County, Kentucky.

In March, 2013 I was married to Brizia C. Shepherd of Ashland, Kentucky. In May of 2013, I attained a Bachelor of Arts in History with a concentration in United States History from Ohio University.

I am currently employed as a Middle and High School Social Studies teacher at Holy Family Catholic School in Ashland, Kentucky.
