1976 Kassandra was born on the 27th December 1976 in the Nambour Hospital. [1] The family were living in Hocking Street, Nambour at the time.
1978 Steven, my brother, was born on the 8th April 1978 in the Nambour Hospital. [2] The family were living at Daguilar at the time.
1981
I started Pre School at Drillham in 1981.
My sister Mylie was born on the 16th July 1981 in the Miles Hospital. [3]
At the time Mylie was born, the family were living at "Homebush Cottage", Drillham, owned by Roy and Gussy.
1982 I repeated Pre School at Wandoan, after Mum could not get me off her leg when she tried to take me to Grade 1. [4]
1984 My family were living at North Rd, Dulacca, on a property called "Luxhall". [5]
1985 Grandad (Myles Hayton) passed away at his home in Beechmere on the 7th February. He had a major heart attack and Grandma was told that he was dead before his body hit the ground. My Uncle Ted (Edward Hayton) married Janice Kopper on the 9th March. Mum made special dresses for Mylie and I and there is a photo of us getting out of Ma's Mercedes on the Gold Coast for the reception. On the 11th May, Aunty Julie (Pampling) married Robert Staines on Buderim. I was a flower girl and remember going to bed the night before with curlers in my hair and when they got taken out in the morning, my curls had dropped out before the ceremony. I was partnered with Alexander Staines, Robert's son from a previous marriage. I stayed overnight at Ma's place. Sometime in 1985, but before June, we moved from "Home Bush Cottage", Drillham to Maroochydore Road. Dad had hurt his back falling from a 10 foot tank onto metal pipes below and could not work at farm hand/stockman anymore. When we first arrived we were in a small cabin on the Northern side of the road. The road in front at the time was the main highway. The road we lived on is now known as Stark Lane. On the 22nd June 1985I remember Dad receiving the call from Ma to say that Uncle Graham had passed away in a work accident. He had been crushed by a forklift when it hit a pipe or chord and rolled. This was at Bagley's Depot at Palmwoods. July, we started school at Woombye State School. I was in grade 3 and Steven was in grade 2. Mylie was only 4 and still at home.
1989 We started school at Nambour Christian College (known then as Newlife Christian School. We started in July. Having been to Kuluin State School at the beginning of the year. I was in grade 7.
1992 Competed Grade 10 at Nambour Christian College. [6]
1994 Graduated Grade 12 at Nambour Christian College. [7]

I would be happy to continue under the new format. The clan of most interest to me so far is Morrison. I am still working my way back there yet, but I know I will get from Australia and England and back to the Scottish roots soon.
Same with the Scottish Clans Project.
Thanks again for joining enjoy and good luck with your research
