Margaret was a teacher and Psychologist with the Tempe School District. She held BA and MS from Kansas State University and a PhD from Iowa State University. Until WW II, she was a professor and member of the clinical staff ant Indiana State Teachers College at Terra Haute, Indiana.
From 1944 to 1946, she served in the US Navy at New Orleans, Louisiana, and until 1951, she was on detached service with the US department of Defense as a teacher and counselor with the US Armed Fources Institute at Clark Air base in the Philippines. Agter two years at Prescott, she moved to Tempe, Arizona where she was employeed by the Tempe School district. While living in Tempe, she cared for an invalid brother, Paul Pankaskie, until his death in 1976.
