Elizabeth Pankhurst was born in 1753 in Cranbrook, Kent, the daughter of Thomas Pankhurst and Mary, presumably Mary Beeching. She was baptised 30 May 1753 [1] and apparently buried the same day[2] The burial place is given only as "Kent" but it seems very likely to be the same person.
Research Notes
A second Elizabeth Pankhurst was born to a Thomas and Mary Pankhurst in 1756 in Benenden (not far from Cranbrook),[3] who could possibly be the one who married Robert Packham but I can find no such evidence. This marriage also does not record the bride's parent' names.[4]All the other references seen appear to come from unsourced trees on Ancestry.com.
