Benjamin was born in about 1810 in Walworth, Surrey, England. He was the son of Nathanuel Pankhurst and Mary (Unknown) Pankhurst.[1]

When Benjamin was about 21 he married on 4 April 1831 in St Mary, Lambeth, England.[2][3]

In the 1841 census Benjamin (age about 31) was living in Lambeth, Surrey, England.[4]

In the 1851 census Benjamin (age about 41) was living in St Giles Cripplegate, Middlesex, England. Relationship: Head.[1]

In 1861 Benjamin (age about 51) was living in St Pancras, Middlesex, England. Relationship: Head.

In the 1871 census Benjamin (age about 61) was living in St Mary Newington, London, England. Relationship: Head.[5]

On 1 May 1881 Benjamin (age about 71) was employed in Walworth, Surrey, England. Hawker.
