Joan was born before 1180. She was the daughter of Hugh de Pantulf le tort.
She married William de Bouquetot
who died in about 1200. They appear to have had no children. In 1200/1 King John granted her as wife to Philip d'Aubigny, along with her lands.
Her father may have been
Hugh Pantulf of Wemme (abt. 1145 - bef. 1224): see discussion on soc.genealogy. medieval.
The same discussion considers the possibility that she married three times, the first husband being William Trian.
