Biography

My grandmother's information about Mary Jane (Jackson?) Pardue may be correct. My father matches other Key family DNA testers and I match with a Pardue DNA tester. With a birth of 1816 she would have married Daniel at 40 and having my Nancy Margaret McElmoyle at 41. The census information below proves it. It also proves that Daniel was married previously and had 2 daughters when he married Mary J. Pardue.
As to her parentage? The family lore is that her parents were Joseph M.. and Nancy Key Pardue. I have found nothing to prove or disprove this.
