Name: Granddaughter Kathryn Boland referred to her grandmother as "Georgianna", as does the 1871 Census[1][2]. 1900 Census records as "Georgiana"[3]. 1910 Census records as "Anna"[4]. Généalogie du Québec lists her as "Marie-Georgina"[5]. The birth record in the Parish register is cut off: "Marie Claire Georgi---"[6]
Immigration date: Husband John's 1913 Naturalization Petition says Oct 1883[7]. 1900 Census says immigration to USA occurred in 1884[3]. 1910 Census claims 1870[4] and 1930 Census[8] claims 1875, but these earlier dates seem doubtful since their children are being born and recorded in Quebec during that period.
Children: The two sources are the firsthand memories of the Boland Letter, para. 9 ("John Langlois and his wife, also named Georgianna, had nine children. Three had died before Matthew knew them.")[1] and the supporting profiles in Généalogie du Québec[5].

Georgianna Parent was born Aug 1853 in Quebec, the daughter of Jean Parent and Elanor Cote.[3][5][15]
On 7 Oct 1873, Georgianna married John H Langlois (1850-) at Sainte-Luce, Rimouski, Quebec[15][16]. Between 1874 and 1885, they had nine children; six survived to adulthood[1][4].
In 1883, the family emigrated to the United States[7]. Their youngest child, Emma (Langlois) Bell (1885-1963), was born in the United States. John worked as a Section Foreman on the Soo Line railroad, built 1884-1888, and the family moved several times[1][17].
From about 1885 to about 1893, the family lived in Rice Lake, Wisconsin[18]. Youngest daughter Emma was born there in 1885[19]. Oldest daughter Georgianna met her husband there while the family operated a rooming house[1]; the couple was married in 1893.
By 1895, the family was living near Glen Flora, Wisconsin[20], and operating a restaurant in the Glen Flora Soo railroad station[1]. By 1900, most of the children were grown and John and Georgianna were living in Wright County, Minnesota[3].
Around 1900-1901, the couple settled in the village of Marengo. Their granddaughter Florence was born in their Marengo house in 1901. They operated a farm, store, and the local post office[1].
Georgiana died before 1930[8].
