Biography
Samuel is the child of Joseph Parent and Desanges Lemoine. He was born at Wickam West, Québec, in 1891. He moved to Lowell, Massachusetts, where he was listed in the 1910 census.
In 1917 he registered for the draft at Lowell. His registration card showed that he was a restaurant manager, supporting his mother and father.
In 1918 he married Stefania Żarnowska at Lowell, Massachusetts. They later had 6 children. The 1920 U.S. census showed them living together at Lowell, Massachusetts.
But the 1930 census appears to show that Samuel Parent was a prisoner at the Bridgewater State Farm, while his wife and 6 children lived at Salem, Massachusetts. No later record of him has been found. [1]
