In her Will, dated 6 Oct 1678, Dame Dorothy Wassington, relict of Sir John Wassington, Knight, requested to be buried in the chancel of the Church of Fordham near her grandchild Penelope Audley
She mentioned her son Thomas Kirkby and his sons and daughters
Her daughter Penelope Thornton whom she made Executrix.
One of the witnesses was her brother Ezekial Pargiter
