Biography

Josie's parents, Moses and Martha Park live in the nearby dwelling 48, and her brother, Alexander Campbell Park and wife are living nearby in dwelling 50. Katie, age 4, and Jas. C. age 2, are found in the household of Allen and Josie. Allen is a farmer. 1900 TX census, Runnels Co, ED128/SH13/LN61. A. D., age 49, and Josie, age 43, live in dwelling 214 and his brother, R. P. and wife Mittie, with their family, live nearby in dwelling 216. Josie, born in July of 1856, reports that she is the mother of 6 children, 5 of whom are living. The four youngest children remain in the home. The oldest son, James Campbell Taylor, is not counted in the home. The youngest son, S. T., was born in October of 1895 in AL, so the family has been in TX less than 5 years. Both A. D. and R. P. are farmers. The birthplace of A. D. and R. P. is given as AL, while the birthplace of their father is given as GA. A. D. was born in January of 1851, and is 49 years old at the time of the census. He and Josie have been married 26 years, so they were married about 1873 or 1874.

1920 AR census, Boone Co, ED/45/SH28/LN60. Allen reports he is an oil man in a railroad shop. One daughter Rosa Lee, age 29, is found in the household.

Josephine was born in 1855. She passed away in 1942.
