THOMAS PARK, 84, of Waimea, Hawai'i and Hau'ula, formerly of Kailua, died Oct. 28, 2008. Born in Waialua. Retired merchant seaman first engineer; retired dispatcher with the Marine Engineers' Beneficial Association-Pacific Coast District 1; retired Honolulu Police Department officer; World War II Merchant Marine veteran. Survived by sons, Robert, Russell, Radford and Kaulana; daughters, Puamana "Kimmie," Soonie "Mikiala" Park-Ledbetter and Soo Whan "Pumehana" Cullen; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Visitation 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary, service 11:30 a.m.; cremation to follow; private scattering of ashes at a later date. Lei and loose flowers welcome. Casual attire.
