Biography

David G. Park was born on Jan 30th, 1855 in Graves County, Kentucky. His parents were N. Park and F. Heflin.^[1] He died on Dec. 29th, 1925 of pneumonia in Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky. He is buried near his daughter, Margaret, in Paducah, McCracken, Kentucky at the Oak Grove Cemetery in the Old addition, Section 45, Lot 12. He was 70 years old when he died.^[2]

His marriage was to Nellie E. Hanson. They had at least three children:

1900 - David G. is enumerated as husband of Nellie as a boarder, in the household of Robert Hall, at Seventh Street in the City of Mayfield, District 5, Ward 2, in Graves County, Kentucky. His daughters, Margaret and Clara are with them. There are a total of 22 people in this household – mostly boarders – one of which is a Nelson Reaves (b. [...] 1874), but it's unclear if he's related to the Reaves line the David's daughter Ruth married into.^[4]

1910 - David is enumerated as head of household, with his wife Nellie, renting a house at 1620 Jefferson [street?], in the City of Paducah, District 3, Ward 2, in McCracken County, Kentucky.^[5]

1920 - David is enumerated as a lodger, in the household of George and Emma Hand, at 1213 South Fourth Street in Louisville City, Ward 7, of Jefferson County, Kentucky. He is widowed; none of his children are listed with him. This location housed four total households.^[6]
