Elizabeth Ann was born in Lancaster, Lancashire, England, in 1872.[1] She was the daughter of James Park and Fanny Crawford, and one of at least seven children. She was enumerated in the 1881 [2] and 1891[3] census residing with her family in Lancaster. In the 1891 census she declares her occupation as "Mill Hand".
