Biography
Letitia [Lettie], was born in Victoria, Australia, in 1862, to Charles Park and Ellen Kelly. Her birth was registered at Anakie, Victoria.
She was baptised 18 August 1862 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church Geelong, Victoria. Sponsors, her 15-year-old-brother John Park, and Bridget Kennedy. John had converted to the Roman Catholic Church; he had been originally baptised Church of England.
A great many of these Sponsors for this Park family should, I am told, be named as Witness not Sponsor, because of their age and the requirements needed by a Catholic to qualify as a Sponsor.
Married James [Jim] Bourke in 1901, in Victoria and they had no children.
Death occurred in 1935 at a Private Hospital in Moreland Road Brunswick, Melbourne.
Buried at Eastern Cemetery Geelong, Victoria.
