Robert was born in 1910. He passed away in 1989. Robert is buried at the Okmulgee Cemetery, Okmulgee County, Oklahoma. Retired newsman Robert Aldo Park, 79, of Yukon died 14 December 1989. Between 1937 and 1975, Park worked at The Bristow Record, was a United Press International staff correspondent and served with The Associated Press in Oklahoma City for 12 years. He was a lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy during World War II, serving as a public information officer. From 1949 to 1963, he was owner and editor of the Yukon Sun. He owned the Bienville Democrat in Arcadia, Louisiana, from 1964-1968. From 1969 to 1975 he was editor of the Highway News for the Oklahoma Highway Department.” He was the son of Riley William Park and Marcella Maxine West Park Francois.
