Biography

John Parker Jr came free to the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)

John Parker Jnr was born in Limerick on 1 March 1828. No birth record has been located to date.

John arrived in Australia with his parents and siblings on 2 July 1840. They travelled as bounty immigrants aboard the ship Premier. [1]

In 1855 he married Eliza Tyrie (spelled Tyre on the records)[2]

John died on 25 July 1873.[3] He is buried at Christ Church Maneroo Cemetery in Cooma. [4]
