He had a quick apprehension, an accute Discernment & a ready Speech, which joined with piety & a love of Justice & the Publick good made him very eminent & useful in his County, raised him to the seat of judicature in it where he sat about 16 years, & in the chief place about 14 months before he died"."[2]

Parker's will was dated 10 Sep 1724. He made bequests: "to my loving wife, Mary...one half of the housing & household stuff, one thire the dwelling house, with conveniences of gardening,...two cows, 20 pounds in current money, & directs that his son David pay 5 pounds annually during her natural life, to his mother. • "...there is an ancient "table" type memorial in the Lothrop's Hill Cemetery, Barnstable, near the other Parker graves of the period. The inscription on the flat surface has disappeared but, considering the prominence of Judge Parker, and the location of the tomb, it would seem probable that this is the marker for the Daniel Parker grave."

Daniel's bio, clearly names only one wife Mary Lumbert, but he seems to have acquired an extra erroneous wife, Experience (Gorham) Lathrop (1678-1733), a Mayflower descendant, along the way. Her bio does not name Daniel as a spouse either. I am removing her.
