[6]Obituary.
Mrs. Augusta Louisa Isabella Moore.
Another fine old resident of the Upper Manning district, in the person
of Mrs. Augusta Louisa Isabella Moore, of Bobin, passed away at Wingham on Tuesday last.
Deceased was the widow of the late Mr. T. S. Moore, who was known to all old residents of this district of the years gone by. He was a Committee man of the Upper Manning A. and H. Association for years, and also took a keen interest in all matters pertaining to the best interests of the district.
As previously stated, Mrs. Moore passed to the Great Beyond on Tuesday, 17th. November, 1936, at the residence of her daughter (Mrs. E. Johnson).
On the 5th. February, 1879, the late Mrs. Moore entered married life, being
united with Mr. T. S. Moore at the Marlee Church of England, the officiating clergyman being the late Rev. W. C. Hawkins.
Deceased was born at Marlee on the 26th. November. 1859, and would have been 77 years of age this month. She settled at Wingham, and later on removed to Stockyard, Marlee, and still later to Bobin.
At the latter place Mrs. Moore resided for the remainder of her days.
A kindly old soul was Mrs. Moore. She belonged to that grand old school
of people who took a delight in doing a good turn for somebody else. Her
memory will ever be cherished by those who knew her best, and who recollect her many acts of kindness throughout a good and useful life.
Deceased leaves a large family to mourn the loss of a good and kindly
mother.

The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon last, the remains laid to rest to the Church of England section of the Marlee Cemetery.
Prior to the cortege leaving St. Matthew's Church of England, Wingham.
a service was conducted bv the Rev. W. Latham. At the close of the customary service, the rev. gentleman made sympathetic remarks regarding the memory of the deceased lady. He said he felt somewhat at a disadvantage, and did not think he could do justice to the solemn occasion — not to the extent that the Rector of the Church would have done. Their Rector knew the deceased and her relatives better than he (the speaker) did. He pointed out that just as Mrs. Moore had passed away, so they would all in turn follow her.
The Rev. W. Latham also officiated at the graveside in the Marlee cemetery.
The funeral was a large and representative one showing the very high
respect in which the deceased lady had been held.
The funeral arrangements were in the hands of Mr. H. V. Brewer, funeral
director, Wingham.
