Biography

Sampson Parker was born on 9 Feb 1804 in Wilkes, North Carolina, United States, son of John M. Parker (~1772 - 1851) and Elizabeth Ann (Carrell) Parker (~1775 - 1864).

Sampson married Sarah Elizabeth Davis (born on 8 Sep 1801; died in Whitley County, Kentucky on 2 Jun 1868), daughter of William Davis and Sarah Rapier.

In the 1850 census Sampson (age 47) was in Whitley, Kentucky.[1]

Sampson received warrant for land on Becky's Crk Land 1833 Whitley Co., Kentucky. Sampson lived with his son Jesse after the death of his wife, Sarah.
