Biography
Lived at Carlton in Craven, Yorkshire England, and at Marley, Yorkshire. Founded Hospital for Poor Widows at Waddington. Married Jane Rookes, daughter of William Rookes of Royds Hall, North Bierley, Yorkshire.
Robert was born about 1633 and baptised on 23 June 1633 at Waddington, the son of Edward Parker.[1]
He was executor of his father's will in 1667.[2]
"Mr Robert Parker and Mrs Jane Rookes" were married 1 September 1684 at Wibsey Chapel, Bradford.[3] Note, the Ancestry record has transcribed her name as Roober and the date as 30 November.
Robert died in 1719 at Carleton and was buried on 21 March 1718/1719 at Waddington, Robertus Parker of Carleton, gen(tleman).[4]
