Enumeration of the free white population between the ages of six and sixteen years in Upshur County A. D. 1854 I do hereby certify the above to be a correct list of the Free White population between the ages of six and sixteen years residing in the County of Upshur for the year A.D. 1854. This is a true copy as filed with the Clerk Co. Court, said Co. A. B. Denton Assessor & Collector for Upshur County this August 14th 1854 Dear Sir
In consequence of the County not being laid out in school districts I have proceeded to make out the scholastic population in total, thinking the children could be aportioned to the school districts when they are laid out, which the Chief Justice informs me he intends shortly to attend to and have the County laid out in school districts. If this report does not meet your expectations you can report it back and when the County is laid out in said districts I shall proceed to take the population as the Law directs.

Respectfully your obt Serat

Since the "confirmed with DNA" relationship indicator is confirming genealogy, it should not be set before the genealogy is solid and the necessary DNA confirmation information has been added to the profile.
