Mary "Polly" Parker was married 1st to Abner Wright Jr. and had two children, had two children; Philena Wright and Polly Wright. She was called the "Grass Widow" by her nephew Joseph Tuttle in his narrative. She married 2nd John Tuttle and removed to Ohio in about 1805. For some reason her two daughters by Wright did not come to Ohio with her, but stayed in Massachusetts. She died sometime after 1840 according to the Revolutionary War Pension records of her husband John.

Narrative of the Life of Joseph Tuttle Jr. Lake County, Ohio, original copy in Morley Library, Painesville, Ohio. ' He (Uncle John) then married his third wife (who survived him), Polly Parker, the grass widow of Abner Wright. He removed with her to Palmyra (then Trumbull Co.) Ohio, in 1805, and then by his last wife raised nine children named respectively, Rebecca, Lydia, Horatio, Jesse, William, Isaac, Calvin, Seth, and Alvira."
