Biography

John Parker was born in 1857 in Eardisley, Herefordshire, England, his birth registered in Presteign district, Radnorshire, Wales and was baptised on 17th July 1857 in Eardisley. He was the son of Thomas Parker and Jane Gayther. ^[1][2][3][4]

In 1871, John Parker (13) was living with his parents and five younger siblings in Beaumanor, Leicestershire. ^[5]

In 1891, John (age 35, single, blacksmith) was living with his mother, Jane (57, widow, a charwoman) and brother, Thomas (30, single, blacksmith) in Loughborough. ^[6]

In 1901 at age 41 years and single, he was a colliery blacksmith boarding with the Harrison family at the Kemp Buildings, Gutteridge Street, Coalville, Leicestershire. ^[7]

John Parker of 59a Regent Street, died age 75 years in 1932 in Loughborough, Leicestershire. ^[8][9]
