Biography

On 16 Sept 1885, along with his brother Leonard, James was baptized at St. Matthias, Richmond. His birth date was given as 19 Dec 1883. His parents were Alfred and Abigail Parker, and their residence as the Star and Garter Hotel, Richmond, where his father was working as a waiter.[1][2]
