Biography

Bonnie Gail Parker was born on July 21, 1956 at Plainview, Hale County Texas.^[1] She was the daughter of James Marion Parker and Martha Ann Sanders. Bonnie married Ronald Dean Francis on May 14, 1977 at Dimmitt Texas.^[2] She passed away on December 21, 2010 in Texas. Bonnie Sue Parker was laid to rest in Llano Cemetery in Amarillo Texas.^[3]

Bonnie Gail Francis, 54, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010.

Bonnie was born July 21, 1956, in Plainview to James Marion Parker and Martha Ann Parker. She grew up in Olton, Lazbuddie and Earth.

Bonnie married Ronald Dean Francis, her best friend, partner and the love of her life, on May 14, 1977, in Dimmitt. They were truly blessed by God having a wonderful life together. They were married for 33 wonderful years.

Bonnie loved spending time with her family and lived her life well. She was a wonderful mother and wife to her family. She and her husband fostered kids for 29 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Martha Parker; two sisters, Shirley Hill and Donna Sue Clark; three brothers, Douglas Parker, Utah Parker and J.D. Parker; and a brother-in-law, Terry Francis.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Francis; four daughters, Amy Francis, Amanda Francis, Jaine Francis and Jay Lynn Francis, all of Amarillo; a son, Justin Francis of Amarillo; a granddaughter, Macey Ann Francis of Amarillo; two brothers, Virgil Sullivan and wife Jeannette of Hewitt and Edwin Parker and wife Verleen of Sheridan, Wyo.; a younger sister, Hazel Harper of Canyon; two sisters-in-law, Dianna Parker of Dimmitt and Barbara Parker of Nevada; a brother-in-law, Thomas Hill of Garland; her father and mother-in-law, Tom and Jean Francis of Gunbarrel; and a brother-in-law, Donald and Nita Francis and their kids of Seven Points.
