Charles Haliday Lancelot Parker was the first child of Horace Parker and Ellen (Sheldon) Parker.^[1][2]

Birth

He was born 10 June 1895 at Broughton, Salford, Lancashire, England and was baptised 21 August 1895 at the Parish Church of St James, Broughton.^[1]

• 1911 (with his grandmother) at 6 Woodward Street, Trent Bridge, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire.^[4]

Charles served in the Royal Flying Corps in World War 1.^[8]

• "Royal Air Force Airmen Records" entry is a good match on date of birth and next of kin, but birthplace recorded as Doncaster. Could be a transcription error but not found a better transcript or image to verify.
• Possible marriage to Eveline Cobb in 1929 at Doncaster. Seen in 1948 passenger list.
• Not found in 1939 register - likely to have been in Nigeria.
