Grace then married Alvin George Merkhofer (born 28 Mar 1885 in Cincinnati; died 20 Jun 1961 in Cincinnati), son of Jacob Merkhofer and Hermina Schafstahl, on 1 January 1916 in Hamilton County, Ohio. They had been issued a license on 31 December 1915, and were both residents of Cincinnati. [2]

Grace died at the age of 80 on 5 September 1967 in Cincinnati.
She was buried in Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati. [3]
