BIOGRAPHY

Thomas was born about 1668. He is the son of Thomas Parker and Elinor (Unknown) Parker (abt.1648-abt.1711).

Land grant 23 Oct 1690 - Rappahannock County, VA. - Thomas Parker 37 acres on south side of the river, adjoining lands of Wm. Harper. Land Office Patents No. 8, 1689-1695, p. 115 (Reel 8).
Land grant 29 April 1693 - Rappahannock County, VA. - Thomas Parker 30 acres on south side of the river on a branch of Occupation Creek; adjoining the land of William Harper and Robert Gullock. Land Office Patents No. 8, 1689-1695, p. 249 (Reel 8).
In 1697 Richmond Co., VA. was formed from Old Rappahannock County, VA. The following 1397 record may apply (Unproven) to this Thomas Parker.
1697-1699 Richmond Co VA Orders; Antient Press: (Page 372) Richmond County Court 1st of March 1698/9 - In the suit depending between Mr. JOHN GRIMES Plt. and THOMAS PARKER Deft. it is further ordered that the Sheriff of this County or his Deputie do sumons a good and lawfull Jury of the Neighbourhood to meet together with Major WILLIAM MOSELEY, Surveyor, upon the Land of the said JOHN GRIMES being One thousand acres situate and being near RAPPAHANOCK CREEK in this County granted unto Mr. CHARLES GRIMES (since deced), Father unto the said JOHN GRIMES, by Patent bearing date the 22nd day of November 1661 on the 16th of this Instant March being Thursday or upon the next fair day and do survey and lay out the said land according to the ancient and reputed bounds thereof, having regard to all Elder Patents adjoining and that they make report of their proceedings herein under their hands in writing to the next Court held for this County. Capt. GEORGE TAYLER is requested to administer the Oath unto the Jurors aforesaid

Land grant 26 April 1704 - Rappahannock County, VA. - Thomas Gregson grantee, 3 acres on south side of the river, adjoining lands of Wm. Harper., Lowowick, Rouzee & formerly granted to Thomas Parker 23 Oct 1690. Land Office Patents No. 9, 1397-1706 (v.1 & 2 p.1-742), p. 595 (Reel 9. )
March 12, 1711/12. Daniel Tucker of St. Ann's Parish, sells Cornelius Sale of the same Parish, for 220 lb tobacco, 100 acres in St. Ann's Paris, on SW bank of Occupation Creek, adjacent land of Robert Gaines, the land of Thomas Parker, the land of Robert Moss and the land of Will Bates. This land formerly conveyed by Deed of Gift from Robert Moss and Rebeccah Moss, dated 2 September 1679 to Laomedon Tucker and from him devised to Daniel Tucker. Signed Daniel Tucker. Wit: Daniel Hayes, Robert Mayfield, Jonathan Clark. "At a Court held for Essex County the 10th day of April 1712 Daniel Tucker acknowledged this his Deed to Cornelius Sale and Eliza Tucker wife to the said Daniel Tucker and Cassandra Goulding Relinquished their right of Dower of and to the Land by this Deed Conveyed which on motion is recorded. Test: Richard Buckner C Cur."
