Marriage: She was married by about 1878 to William Jasper Cox. (Date estimated based on the date of birth of her oldest child.) They were the parents of at least 6 children children. She appears in the death records of five of her six children -- all but Lawrence Leotis Cox, for whom no mother is shown.

Death and Burial: Dollie Cox passed away on 29 September 1891. She was buried in Union Cemetery, Ozark, Dale County, Alabama. A photograph of her gravestone was included on her FindAGrave memorial. Her gravestone was engraved with her nickname, her dates of birth and death, and said that she was the wife of W. J. Cox.[2]
