Name: John Parker Baptism Date: 21 Feb 1613. Baptism Place: Taunton St Mary, Somerset, England. Father: Hugh Parker. [1]

John Parker of Taunton made his will on 5 November 1665. He mentions:

  • his wife Sarah,
  • his wife's sister's son Nathaniel Smith,
  • his brother Parker
  • his brother John Summers
  • the children of John Summers, John Summers, Junior, Daniel Summers, Elizabeth, Mary and Abigail
  • the children of his sister Smith
  • his sister Jabins' children, John, Joseph, Daniel and Annis Jabins
  • Mary Parker
  • his sister Elizabeth Philips of Taunton, and to James Philips
  • cousin James Walker's children

His date of death 26 February 1667 is recorded in the heading of his inventory which was exhibited to the Plymouth court on 20 October 1668 on oath of his widow Sarah.[2]

Research note

Visitation says that John son of Hugh Parker and Mary Hutchins died aged 12. [3]
