Elizabeth Parker was born on 16 June 1778 in Tarbock, Lancashire, England. She was the daughter of John Parker and Catherine (Hall) Parker.[1]
Elizabeth was baptized on 12 July 1778 at St Michael's Church in Huyton, Lancashire, England.[1]
Elizabeth married James Stanley on 17 Nov 1799 at Farnworth Chapel of Ease in the parish of Prescot, Lancashire. Both were of Farnworth near Prescot; James was a blacksmith, Elizabeth a spinster. The witnesses were John Hooton and Peter Shaw.
By June 6th 1841, James and Elizabeth were living in Lane Ends, Eccleston with their youngest son Edward and four-year-old Elizabeth Stanley, their son William's eldest child. James was a blacksmith, Edward was an apprentice tool maker.
By March 30th 1851, they were still in Lane Ends. James was a Furneman (journeyman?) blacksmith.
James died in 1856, and was buried on 10 Aug 1856 at the church of St Mary the Virgin in Prescot, Lancashire. His age was recorded as 78, and his address as Eccleston.
Elizabeth died at the age of 78 in March 1857 in Eccleston, Prescot, Lancashire, England.
