Edward Thomas Parkes, of full age, Bachelor, Gardiner, of Broadwinder, (son of George Parkes, Builder) married Mary Jane Young, of full age, Spinster, of Felton, (daughter of Samuel Young, Farmer) on 25th May 1892 in the Parish Church of St. Katherine, Felton Common Hill, Somerset, England according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church after Banns by H. G. Phillips. Edward & Mary both signed their names. Witnesses were Elizabeth Jane Baker, Frederick Alexander & William Isaac Inchton (?). [4][5]
Edward Thomas Parkes, of Highcroft, West Town, Somersetshire died aged 87, on 19th February 1956 [6] at Sherbrook, St. Andrews Road, West Town, Somerset, England. Probate of his estate was granted at Bristol on 4th May 1956 to William Parkes, Tailor and Victor Thomas Parkes, Engineer. [6][7]
