Dora Parkes was born on July 6, 1889 in St Leonards, Colony of New South Wales, daughter of Frederick Charles Parkes (1847–1903) and Ruth Wooster (1858–1929).[1]

Dora married Harold James Crockford in 1914 in St Leonards [2].

Their children were:

Dora died on July 11, 1981 in Malvern, Victoria, Australia, aged 92.[3]
