Biography

Ben Parks is a part of US Black heritage.

Ben Parks was born in 1851. He was the son of America and James Asbury Parks.

Ben and his wife Anna had four children: America, Julia, Eddie, and Inice.

In 1905, Ben had an accident at work that resulted in one of his hands being mangled. He contracted tetanus and died. He is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Scott, Kansas.[1]
