This is the grave site and headstone of this Civil War Soldier. No known information on his family. He was injured at the Battle of Gettysburg, and taken to Harrisburg, PA for medical treatment and died there. I have pictures of 30+ soldiers headstones in the Harrisburg Cemetery I took myself. Most of the bodies here were not local soldiers, but included both US and Confederate soldiers whose bodies were unclaimed and were buried here. I am posting these pictures in hopes that someone will claim these pictures and add to their tree. Unclaimed at death ~ far, far from home. I long to be found, and homeward bound.
