Hi L,

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Let me know. I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders. Thanks, Abby

Hello L,

Thank you for joining WikiTree. I'm a WikiTree Mentor available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may have.

How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point, and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me via my profile page.

Hi L.

Just a quick PS

Don't forget to Head over to the G2G forum. and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House or ask a question in any of the other categories. There's also a brickwall tag in the G2G forum: for that "special" ancestor who is eluding you.

if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

Best Wishes, and have fun adding your leaves and branches!

I am so excited to be a part of this community and share what I've learned over the years. I hope to get more accurate with my details and include more sources.

Hi,

I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step instruction of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The Help Pages give lots of information about the process starting with: 'Before you import a GEDCOM'

Find instructions here for reviewing your GEDMatch Report if you want to import it into WikiTree. Amy
