Susan, daughter of James Parmenter & Mary, was born on 5 November 1846 and baptised on 20 December 1846 in Sutton Forest, New South Wales, Australia.^[1]

In 1875, Susan married George Barnes at Berrima. ^[2]

She died at Bowral, New South Wales on 6 November 1919. ^[3] and was buried at Berrima General Cemetery. ^[4]
