Ellen Parr was born in about 1827 in Lancashire, probably in Eccleston. She was the daughter of Isaac and Mary Parr.

By June 6th 1841, the family was living in Catchey Moss, Eccleston; Isaac (senior) was a farmer.

Ellen's father died in 1842 in Prescot district; his age was recorded as 52.

Research Notes

Probably not the Ellen Parr who married Henry Hunter in 1851 in Prescot district - she was 30 in 1861.^[1]

Definitely not the Ellen Parr who married James Molyneux in 1856 (wrong father & wrong age).
