Biography

Mary married William Abel Armstrong December of 1805. Records show that she married John Hays February 28, 1808.

It is possible that William passed away young but there are no records to prove it as fact. William was a brother of John Alexander, the husband of Mary's sister Elisabeth Susan Parrett-Armstrong.

Mary's father, Captain Joseph Parrett, served with some distinction in the Revolutionary war.
