Richard was born in 1794. He was the son of Richard Parish and Mary Criss. He passed away in 1888.

Richard Parrish Jr., "Dicky", a son of Richard and Mary "Polly" (Criss) Parrish, was born in January 1794 in Marion County, Virginia (WV) and died October 17, 1888, in Harrison County, West Virginia. On October 2, 1817 he married Nancy Tetrick, the daughter of Henry and Catherine (Davis)
