Cecil Stewart was born 29 Nov 1891 in Springhill, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, Canada.[1]

He graduated from King's College, Windsor NS with a B.Sc. He graduated from King's University, Windsor, England with a D. Eng. He graduated in 1913, from Queen's Univ England B.Sc.

He was a mining engineer, metallurist, and consulting engineer. By 1946 granted a OBE.

He had 2 children from 1st marriage.
