Sarah Jane (Jennie) Parsons was born on July 2, 1910, in Bonne Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, her father, William, was 29, and her mother, Emma, was 26. She married William Thomas Bailey on November 18, 1936, in Buchans, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. They had three children during their marriage. She died on November 25, 1991, in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, at the age of 81, and was buried there.^[1]^[2]^[3]

In the 1921 census Sarah Jane Parsons (age 11) was the daughter of William Parsons in Curzon Village, St. Barbe, Newfoundland.^[4]

In the 1935 census Sarah J Parsons (age 25) was the single daughter of William Parsons in Curzon Village, St. Barbe, Newfoundland.^[5]
