Biography

Laurence Parsons was born in Ireland.

In 1637 approximately Laurence was born the eldest son of William Parsons of Birr, Kings. co. ^[1] and his wife Dorothy Phillips

1653 Suceeded his father to the Birr estates.

Laurence married Frances Savage, youngest daughter and co-heir of William Savage, Esq of Rheban, co Kildare; and his wife Frances Weldon ^[1]

Hhe was created 1st. Baronet Parsons of Birr Castle on 15 December 1677. ^[2] & ^[3]

He died in 1698 and was succeeded to the Baronecy by his eldest son William.
