Biography

1661 approximately William was born probably at Birr, the son of Laurence Parsons, 1st Baronet his wife and Frances Savage.

William m1). to Elizabeth Preston, daughter of Sir George Preston, Baronet of Craigmillar. [1]

He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for King's County [Ireland] between 1692 and 1741.

He succeeded his father as the 2nd Baronet Parsons, of Birr Castle [I., 1677] in 1698. [2]

In 1699 He was Deputy Governer of Kings co. [3]

1701 death of Elizabeth. [2]

1718 William m2). Elizabeth St. George, daughter of Sir George St. George of Dunmore, Galway, and widow of Rev. Dillon Ashe. [4] & [5]

1740 will dated 9 march and William died 17th. March and was succeeded by his grandson Sir Laurence Parsons [1]
