Mehitable Parsons was born on the 2nd of March 1682 in Simsbury, Hartford, Connecticut.[1] She married Joseph Seger on the 27th of March 1704 in Suffield,[1] the year their first son, Joseph, was born. Her joy was shortly hushed as their sweet son died the following year.
In the year 1705, four acres of land in Simsbury were laid out for Joseph Seger. It had been given to him by her father Joseph, long deceased; but the deed had been lost. In 1711 'Joseph Segar and Mehitabel Segar the wif of Joseph Segar Being thae only child of my Honored Father Joseph persons long since Deceased, and so being sole Heirest to his whol estate, Personal and Reall, do Joyntly sell to the Town of Simsbury my whole Intrest and property... that was our fathers Joseph persons.'[1]
Mehitable died on the 27th of November 1725 in Suffield.[1]
