PARSONS, Frederick William — Passed peacefully away at Lakeside Homes, Gander, Frederick William Parsons of Gambo, formerly of Gooseberry Island, age 99. Predeceased by his first wife, Gladys and two infant daughters; as well as his wife of many wonderful years, Rose (Wade) and son, Milton. Left to mourn are daughters, Myrtle Sturge (Clyde), Ann Lane (Dave); sons, Job (Peggy) and John; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur (Janet) and Lewis (Daphne); and a large circle of friends. Funeral service was held at the Salvation Army Citadel, Gambo, NL. Donations in his memory may be made to Lakeside Homes, Gander, NL or Salvation Army, Gambo Corps. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Pritchett's Funeral Home, Gambo.
