A wanna-be genealogist, a master gardener, and a senior life member of IEEE. Initially a University of Nevada, Reno trained metallurgical engineer struggling to hold a job in the then-collapsing US mining industry. Reconsidered this career, and returned to school at the University of Utah to complete a Masters in electrical engineering and found job stability. Moved to Las Vegas, Nevada after retiring in 2017 from Sandia National Labs in Albuquerque, New Mexico where I was an electronics engineer for 31 years.

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
The Mayflower Project is a good fit for your research focus. Review the project page to learn how to collaborate with the project members and about any special profile and sourcing guidelines.
Have questions? Click my name, then ask in the comments on my profile.

You have been a member about a week. How is it going so far? Was the first page of the How-Tos helpful or did it leave you with questions? It has confused the best of us at times!
Did you know that if you click the green tags on your profile page, you can see if other members are following that tag. Add your interests, surnames, or locations to your profile. The more tags you add the more links to community & research options.
Any problems or queries just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message.

P.S. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile, links will work from there.
If you have any troubles researching your ancestors, as a fellow Partridge born in the 1950's, I'd be happy to try to help.
